Conservation and sustainable development - guided tours
Built in 1780 on the edge of the public gardens, the Hôtel de Lisleferme was bought in 1857 by the city council to house what was to be called the “Natural History Museum”. In 2019, following major renovation works, it reopened with the new name “Museum of Bordeaux – Science and Nature”. For the European Heritage Days, find out how this old building was converted in order to conjugate conservation requirements with sustainable development.
